About the Allsteel Graded-in Textiles Program
Welcome to the Allsteel Graded-in Textiles program. We are pleased to offer this highly diversified selection of products from many well respected textile partners. The fabrics offered in this program have been tested on a wide variety of Allsteel products to ensure they meet our quality standards for COM application, durability and wear. To accelerate your textile selection process, we have established an Allsteel Order Code as well as a list of Allsteel products on which these fabrics are available. If you find a textile(s) that you have ordered as a regular COM in the past, please use the graded-in order option code provided through this program on future order.
During the ordering process, please keep our normal COM policies in mind:
Fabric Warranty:
Textiles offered in the Graded-in Textiles program are non-standard materials and are considered Customer’s Own Materials (COM). COMs selected by and used at the request of a user are not warranted.
Lead times:
As with all COMs, orders specified through the Allsteel Graded-in Textile program will be acknowledged based on the availability and fabric delivery schedule from each supplier. Allsteel cannot make any guarantees on fabric availability or lead times.
Product Availability:
Each supplier reserves the right to discontinue patterns and colors from the Allsteel Graded-in Textile program at any time. Therefore, Allsteel reserves the right to remove patterns from this program at any time.
Minimums and Pricing:
There are no hidden charges or minimum orders. Suppliers reserve the right to adjust pricing for products in this program at any time. Therefore, Allsteel reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. When ordering, please use the 9-digit Allsteel Order Code in the corresponding option code field. These codes are listed below each fabric name. In addition, these codes can be located in corresponding CAP/SIF catalogs for Graded-In COMs. All fabrics are priced according to the Allsteel fabric grading structure.
NOTE: Some fabrics have been approved for use on both Panel (P) and Seating Upholstery (S) applications. Please note that in some cases there is an option code specific to its intended application (exception: Maharam Medium, Messenger, and Milestone).
Specification Example:
SHBFBNC66 = HBF Textiles Burnished Cloth Caper; Specify RL-UHW.2.0.L.CBK.
SHBFBNC66
PHBFBNC66 = HBF Textiles Burnished Cloth Caper; Specify Z42224TF.
PHBFBNC66
Product Application:
Railroad:
All COM textiles will be applied to seating and panel systems Pattern Cut unless Railroad cut is specified by the supplier (typically listed on the sample memo as “shown railroaded”). In this case, the textile will be noted as “Railroaded: YES” under the specifications list and the Allsteel Order Code will always end with an R. Example: HBF Textiles Wiggle Room Jello: SHBFWGL45R
Width Restriction:
Some textiles offered on panel systems applications are not available as standard 66” wide. Therefore, some width restrictions will apply. In this case, the textile will be noted as having the following potential restrictions: “ON SYSTEMS: FABRIC ONLY AVAILABLE ON PRODUCT 48"W OR LESS”. Options in CAP/SIF catalogs will reflect these restrictions according to the panel or tile sizes in the product line.
